Clinical Study on the Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment of Immunodeficient Patients Infected with the Novel Coronavirus
During the severe outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) across China, the epidemic spread to the Yan’an region, resulting in local cases. This report describes an immunodeficient patient infected with the novel coronavirus who was successfully cured through active integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment at our hospital. We present the outcomes of this combined therapy to better contribute to the current fight against the epidemic and to further explore the underlying mechanisms of integrated Chinese and Western medicine, which remains highly significant for managing current post-infection sequelae.
